Largest framed: 38 x 49 inches.Smaller framed: 37 3/4 x 24 1/2 inches each.Canvases are not lined; moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; all with a highly reflective varnish applied to the surface; craquelures throughout each canvas; scattered areas of inpainting visible under normal viewing conditions in each canvas. One pinpoint paint loss in center left of Chopin Dying in Bed. There is a liquid spray pattern through right side of Chopin at Piano with Other Composers Listening, with several pinpoint shallow paint losses caused by the liquid. Canvas is moderately distorted in Chopin at Piano with Group Listening. Under UV light: a thick, greenish varnish layer prohibits full viewing of inpainting; however, there does appear to be inpainting scattered throughout surfaces of all three paintings.
